Appreciate the crux of the story and Riot overreach is insane as always but I feel like sharing the part about them mocking China & the memes is too far. You constantly talk about ethics and public interest but in that case at a worst you could legitimately be putting those individuals (who are mostly lower level powerless employees) lives at risk if they were to go to China, and at best affecting their future ability to travel to China.
And do you think it's okay that those who did could possibly be harmed or have their Visa denied if they were to go to China? That part wasn't even important to the crux of the story and the story would have been just as important without it. Feels unnecessary to add considering the potential ramifications that could happen as a result of you publicising them mocking and memeing on China and their President.
I think it is relevant to the story to note that executives at NiP are simultaneously doing the bidding of Riot China while also openly joking about the very real issues with the Chinese government.
