The American Pie reference was unexpected but fitting. I enjoy how you write in little things like this.

LOL I might disagree with a point here or there but the writing in this piece was fantastic. I donโ€™t comment much but had to on this one. ๐Ÿ‘

THANK YOU. I've been so tired of hearing "management bad, rank and file good" these past 2 years.

Don't work for shitty companies! If you're silenced, threatened, intimidated or coerced directly by management or indirectly by company culture for speaking out about an obvious flaw DO NOT WORK THERE. We have options in the first world, we're not slaves, just concentrate at getting good at something valuable and find your place in the world. Tons of indie devs out there looking to hire people who matter, and you should be able to communicate directly to all levels of management.

Grow a spine, stay away from these big corps. I'm so thankful I made this exact change in my 20's before my life spiralled into the pit that these people are now in.

These articles just get me sad af.

Not because i don't like it. Just because, it's true...

An industry that could have been magnificent if they just let it grow organically. And it would have, slower probably, but definitely healthier and above all, probably more sustainable... I guess we'll never know...

For people who argue that supporting an evil establishment makes you complicit in their evil actions, they sure do get sad when they can't work at the evil establishments

Im kinda surprised the people in this industry were not aware that most mergers end in layoffs to raise the bottom line for the quarter. Asset striping is a thing.
