Their viewership on their YouTube channels (especially the creator collective one) is also pathetic. Amateur YouTubers and people who upload videos as a hobby get more viewers.
They have a 2hr interview on there with Stewie currently sitting at 162 views
Sure he's not exactly winning hearts and minds lately, but the guy was a tick away from winning a major with an ace, that should be a draw of some kind?
They are just throwing content out and hoping it gets an audience because they are EG or something. Don't see them tweeting stuff out and they are just doing the generic boring LCS content, reminds me of Splyce
I was a huge fan of the NA Cloud 9 lineup. Stewie in particular. His playstyle was always exciting to watch and outside the server he always seemed to have this energy and exuberance about him.
Kinda stopped paying attention to him after he went to EG and the dirty laundry about his time on Liquid was aired out by the other Liquid guys.
After watching the video Richard put out of Stewies coaching drama at EG, its clear he's not nearly the same person he was back when he was on C9. He just seems so burnt out and low energy, and just full of himself for no reason.
I was a huge fan of him in the past, now I have no interest. A 2 hour interview of him back when was on C9 or Liquid? I'd probably sit down and watch it all in one sitting. 2 hour interview of him now? I'd skip past it without a second thought.
i disagree, he's always been the "relentless megalomaniac" archetype, the results of both the good and bad times line up with that
it's not always a bad thing, in certain situations it's the only mindset that can get you out of a bind...but when it becomes a hindrance, it's devastating, he really does seem to believe that he's done nothing wrong
Another lesson to all the young ones out there that even if you're a genius, if you're evil, that'll bite you in the ass regardless of your IQ.

That is wild. He still pulls plenty of viewers on his stream, too, so people like Stewie. Just are not aware of or drawn to the EG content.

Step out of the echo chamber and pay attention
Funny how Richard says he's gonna retire
...then decides to deliver the BEST work of his entire career. An absolute blessing to esports. Too good for this wretched industry.
