I think we as a society can condemn Hamas brutal and evil actions that they have done onto the Israeli people and want Israel to get Justice while also being worried about the innocent Palestinian people who are going to be the ones who get the majority of the Israel wrath even if we can't do anything about it

Edit: sorry I accidentally posted the same post 4 times, my phone was being a bit a a jerk and didn't register that my post went through even though it did.

Balanced and nuanced as always Richard. I hope you are wrong about the Israeli and Palestinian relationship over the course of the rest of this century, I fear however you have hit the nail on the head. I just hope the the response doesn't cause too much collateral damage. But the Israelis aren't known for their restraint.

Thank you for uploading and discussing what is such a awful topic. Always keen to see what you have to say and the media spin that goes on surrounding important events.

I've unfortunately seen the atrocities on Twitter/X and look on in horror and disbelief. I can't believe that people are looking for ways to defend this by saying "40 babies were killed but they weren't all beheaded".

I'm sure you will mention it in the more dedicated media podcast you mentioned you will do around this atrocity but the fact that American university students are chanting "glory to the murders (https://twitter.com/gdatz/status/1711901493438120191)" and other similar chants is beyond disturbing.

Thank you for this podcast Richard. Growing up around a lot of Jews, this has been an extremely disturbing 5 days and I'm glad to hear you be a voice of reason. Cheers and keep up the great work as always.

The link I provided I think she is saying "martyrs" but the core message remains the same

Great coverage by Richard, as always. So hard ro hear... Furthermore, in regards to conflicts on Biden's watch, we have Russia/Ukraine, Nagorno Karabakh being dissolved leading to 120k Armenian migrants (a sad continuation of a shrinking of their prssence since the 1910s), and Serbia getting aggresive in Nortern Kosovo. That is only in Eastern Europe. Obviously not all is US's fault but what a star studded resume for Biden...

A much needed dose of sanity around this thank you. This event seems to have either broken people's minds or their masks as alot of the left seems to be out and out racist on this issue. To the point that the more sane people out there are starting to align on a bunch of issues around journalism, online platforms, media etc. From what I've listened to just today you, Destiny and everyone on Peter Mansbridge's show the Bridge (Peter Mansbridge was the main anchor for the CBC for 30 or 40 years) now are very close to aligning on all these issues. There's more main stream and mainstream adjacent as well, but seemingly less and less non mainstream media which is not the way I expected it to go.
